The purpose of the Alter Guild is to serve God in His house by preparing the sanctuary so that the people of God may worship Him “in the beauty of holiness”. Psalms 96:9                    Our members, divided into three teams, clean, polish and maintain the brass  and silver, launder and iron the linens and vestments, fill and prepare the  candles, prepares the elements for Holy Communion, and do all other things  necessary for each congregational service and for all occasions.  With the  assistance of volunteers and donors from the entire parish, the Guild also  decorates for the major feasts of the Church.  The Flower Chairperson is tra‐ ditionally a member of the group.  Members of the Altar Guild perform a si‐ lent or hidden ministry to our Parish so that we may worship and glorify  Christ .
